HICKS IN THE HOUSE
Spent the day on several projects here at the "Hypochondriac Dream Palace" ( We can see three Hospitals and two emergency rooms from our building ) We also live in the same building with several Docs , nurses etc .. it does feel comforting to know that there's a medical expert on every third floor.. In fact sometimes I swear I hear "home-made" operations going on in the place , kinda spooky ! I do have to wonder if we might be able to get some good "under-the-table" health care around here , maybe even find a "doctor feel good" as well ! I'll let you know if I find anyone who might be of service to you , for a small price of course .
While toiling away at the daily work load we put a Bill Hicks DVD on to lighten the mood around here ("all work and no play" ... you know the rest ) anyway , my god that guy was funny , I wish he was around to comment on the current political climate , I might actually enjoy living in this crazy mess we've gotten ourselves in to if I knew I could listen to Hicks un-load his thoughts on it every couple of weeks .
Anie and I saw Margaret Cho live here in Seattle a few weeks back , she also knows how to take a subject that normally makes me want to defect and turn it in to something laughable , so funny I literally had a sore face the next day . Thank god there was actually someone here in our building that was able to assure me that my cheeks would be back to normal soon , he only charged me $10.00 for his opinion , not bad .
Even more on the subject of laughter , we also played some 'Strangers With Candy' episodes today , I don't even know where to begin with how funny Amy Sedaris is , if you haven't witnessed this brilliant comedy and social satire , you really must , I'm almost ready to put it in the same category as 'The Simpsons'!!
Tomorrow I'll be meeting with my web magician to beef up the site a little more .... stay tuned . Soon you won't be greeted with the same opening songs each time you log on . Also there will be a few new additions to the photo gallery .
Thursday I'll be off to Vegas with 'Sake Bomb' to join the Rat City Rollergirls down there at the 'Roller-Con' , a 3 day Derby extravaganza that I'll surely write about (if I'm allowed) after the weekend or maybe even from the event , this will be the first time I've been to Vegas with a woman , we'll have to see if a guy can get in to just as much trouble down there with a dame at his side as he would with his "encouraging" friends!! I sure hope so !!

I've never been to Vegas but I will give advice. Please take the game Yahtzee and play in the room. If you win and say Yahtzee lots then it is time to roll the dice for real. If you hear bells, find gum on your shoe then your on your own.
Aretha Franklin has a great song about doctors. Now she can sing. Did you know that Macy means vagina in Nepali. My Subarna said that when he heard Macy Gray sing...She has the best voice.
Mark, Do you still have those drawings that I sent you. The one with Frances Farmer titled Frances Farmer will have her revenge on Seattle? This was before Nirvana even heard of it. I know you said that you found lots of these correspondences. Before you moved in 05 Did you throw them away? It would be nice to have them back. Or I guess I could just read Farmers book again to reproduce those drawings. To remember that far back. Life is like that Groundhog day movie ya know esp. since the earth split her side . Or how about the Quentin Tarranteno Kill Bill movie. Now he is a fine director. Oh for the joys of Lithium. A simple salt from the chemistry table. :) Again, please send me those letters I need a laugh.

Amy Sedaris certainly does kick some ass. I saw David Sedaris at the Paramount three or four years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you haven't already read it, pick up a copy of "Me Talk Pretty One Day" and read the story about Amy and the fat suit. I promise it won't disappoint.
